1.What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Lapetina Enterprises collects and uses information about the businesses we work with and the people who contact us or fill in our forms ("you"). Information about your own customers that you collect through the website and tools we provide to you (Customer Data) is handled on your behalf as described in Section 11 of our Terms of Service; your own privacy policy governs how you use it.

2.Information we collect

  • Business and contact details you give us on our setup form or when we talk: business name, legal name, business type, addresses, owner and staff names, emails and phone numbers, domain and account preferences, and your signature and agreement record (date, time, version and name).
  • Tax ID (EIN), when you give it for text messaging registration. It is encrypted when stored and shared only with you (your copy of the form), our text messaging provider, and the phone carriers' registration system.
  • Payment information. Card details you enter on our form go directly to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or security code; we keep only the card brand, last four digits and expiration date, and Stripe's reference IDs.
  • Public business information, such as your business listing, hours, reviews and website, which we use to prepare and maintain your website.
  • Technical information when you use our forms or dashboards, such as IP address, browser and device type, and logs needed for security and to prevent abuse.

Cookies. Our forms and legal pages do not set cookies of our own and use no advertising or analytics trackers. The setup form saves your unfinished answers in your own browser (local storage) so you do not lose them, and the secure card form is provided by Stripe, which may use its own cookies to prevent fraud.

3.How we use it

  • to provide, set up, bill for and support the Services you signed up for;
  • to register your business with third parties when you ask us to (for example phone carriers for texting, Google, domain registrars);
  • to communicate with you about your account, including service and billing notices;
  • to keep our services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep records required by law; and
  • to improve our services, using de-identified, aggregated information where possible.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4.Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to provide the Services or as the law requires, with service providers that work for us:

  • Cloudflare, for hosting, databases and security logs;
  • Stripe and Square, for payments (Stripe holds the card you keep on file with us);
  • Telnyx, for phone numbers, calls and texting, for registering your business with the phone carriers' registration system, and for delivering the emails your website sends;
  • Google, for sign-in, calendar and Google Business Profile tools, and to send our emails to you (Gmail); and
  • AI model providers, for the AI assistant.

We also share information with third parties you ask us to connect with; professional advisers; and authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety. If our business is sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the successor under this policy.

5.How long we keep it, and security

We keep billing records (invoices, payments, and your setup form and agreement record, which show what was agreed) for 7 years, for tax, accounting and legal reasons. Other client records are kept for as long as your account is active plus the 30-day export window after it ends, then deleted (backups are deleted on their normal schedule), unless the law requires us to keep them longer. We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive fields such as tax IDs, and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure.

6.Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your information, or to stop marketing emails, by emailing trenton1503@gmail.com. We may need to keep some information to provide the Services, collect amounts owed or meet legal obligations. We will respond within a reasonable time and as any applicable law requires. Virginia's Consumer Data Protection Act does not currently apply to a business of our size, but we honor the requests above anyway. Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13.

7.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes affecting current clients, we will also notify you by email.
